How Does It Work?

When most people think of mindfulness, they picture traditional meditation—sitting cross-legged, focusing on the breath, and trying to quiet the mind. But mindfulness is so much more than that. It’s a simple, everyday practice that can be woven into your life at any moment—whether you’re walking, doing dishes, exercising, driving, working, or even when things get stressful, like when someone is raising their voice at you.


At Mindful Original, we focus on "anytime, anywhere" mindfulness—helping you feel present and grounded whenever you need it most. We support this practice with techniques from mental health counselling, food coaching, and our personal journey, delivering a truly holistic experience for our clients.

What is mindfulness?

Mindfulness is simply the practice of paying full attention to the present moment—what you're doing, how you're feeling, and what's happening around you—without judging it as good or bad.
