First thing first - What is mindfulness?

When most people think of mindfulness, they picture someone sitting cross-legged, focusing on their breath. But it’s much more than that. Mindfulness is simply paying full attention to the present moment—what you're doing, feeling, and experiencing—without judgment. It can be spontaneous, like watching clouds, or intentional, like using breathing exercises to manage stress.

How do you help?

At Mindful Original, we teach "informal mindfulness"—simple, down-to-earth practices you can weave into everyday life. Whether you’re doing the dishes, going for a walk, driving, working, cooking, or even navigating a tough moment with someone, mindfulness can meet you right there.

We personalize this practice to fit your life, blending it with tools from mental health counseling, food coaching, and our own lived experiences. This all-in-one, compassionate approach supports your whole wellbeing.
